Product leader · Los Angeles

I lead product.
I also build things.

Twelve years shipping consumer products for gamers, fans and readers.

I head product at IGN Entertainment, where I lead Product Management, Design and Operations. On the side I make small web games, built by directing AI coding tools. This page collects both.

IGN Entertainment

Rebuilding how fans find content

I built the company product roadmap with IGN's executives and directed the modernization that came out of it: new search, navigation, personalization, Shorts and Daily Games.

  • More readers, especially on mobile, now use navigation to reach content
  • Logged-in readers get personalized recommendations through For You
  • IGN Shorts, a native vertical feed, grew how much video people watch on IGN.com

IGN Entertainment

Product work run by AI agents

I lead the product side of IGN's shift to AI agents across software delivery. Agents take work from intake to PRD to ready tickets, with a person approving every risky step.

  • One agent does the work and another checks it
  • PMs and designers run the workflows on their own
  • The team ships more without adding headcount

Before IGN

Audiences, ad-tech and subscriptions

Fan voting at Ranker, programmatic ad products at Freestar, and a premium research platform at Investor's Business Daily.

  • Led Ranker.com, one of the web's largest fan-voting sites
  • Led the team behind Wishbone, Mammoth Media's most popular app
  • Shipped MarketSmith features that improved retention and grew revenue

Process

How I build

I'm a product person, not an engineer. I work by directing AI tools: Cursor and Claude Code for building, and a set of agents for the product work around it.

The rule I keep, at work and on side projects, is that agents do the work and a person makes the call. Every change gets checked, risky steps wait for approval, and nothing touches a live system until it has run in a test.

ShapeWrite the spec until the decisions are made.
BuildAgents write and review the code.
PlayTest it like a player, then iterate.
